I like gardening, have grand cottagey type plans for our garden. We're slighty hampered by a two year old, and a lack of time. We've got a new greenhouse, so we have big plans to utilise it. We're aiming to slighty restructure our garden this year so we can turn our backs for more than five minutes without a small child falling over.
Love visiting gardens, come away with exotic ideas! We're keen on National Trust Gardens, we're paid up members. We've had a lot of fun over previous years with a Garener's World 2 for 1 ticket and visited loads of interesting spots. Hopefully the mag will do the same offer again this year.
Hi mrsw,
Yes, lack of nutrients is a possibility but other plants seem to be thriving. That's gardening isn't it? Some plants do well in some places and not others. There's an update on my gallery. Also a pic of my Judas Tree, Cercis siliquastrum which is real picture just now.
Have you tried putting Round Up down on your gravel? We use it on our front drive, I usually have to put 2 applications down per year, but it's worth the price. With other weedkillers I've had to do many more applications.
